Academy Director Tony Howarth speaks at PGA of Slovenia Education Seminar

Academy Director, Tony Howarth, presented today at the PGA of Slovenia’s Education Seminar at Diners Golf & Country Club Ljubljana. Tony spoke in the morning about his role as Master Trainer with SNAG (Starting New At Golf), introduced the SNAG equipment and delivered training to 27 PGA professionals. After lunch, Tony talked to the Slovenian Professionals about group coaching techniques, Academy set ups and how to bring new people into the game.

President of the PGA of Slovenia, Boris Kosuta, thanked Tony for his presentation and training and has invited Tony back to Slovenia later in the year.

Tony said of his visit: “It is always a great privilege to be asked to give talks and presentations to fellow professionals

around the world. It is amazing to think that Scarthingwell Golf Course was founded before the PGA of Slovenia!”  Tony added  “The facility here at Diners Golf & Country Club is fabulous, with a fantastic driving range and indoor Academy. I am certain the project to take golf into schools and to bring families into the game will be a great success here in Slovenia”
